Long-time member and good friend, Pat Barnitz, passed away in June. Her friend and estate executor reached out to us to donate some of her art supplies to MAL.
There are pastels (probably unused) from Blue Earth and Unison as well as many tubes of watercolor paint, like over 100. There are also good quality brushes and two wooden "wet canvas" carriers from Jullian Paris. We are pricing these items at 75% of retail value. There are also many finished paintings by Pat that are matted and in acetate sleeves which could be reused.
The pastels will be highly sought after and there are only two carriers so we will put all the names in a hat for these items and pull the winner on July 29 at 2:30 PM. You can register here to be included. You can also add your name at the event before 2:30. You need not be present to win.
The rest of the items are available at any time July 29, 1-3. We prefer checks or cash but can handle a charge with a 3% fee. There's no sales tax on donations like this.
