Registration is closed

We are planning a field trip to Clayton, the Frick family mansion, decorated for the holidays. We may do lunch at the Frick Café and are making reservations for the group.

MAL members must arrive at the Grable Visitors Center no later than 9:45 AM. Docent Elisabeth Braughler (and MAL member) will lead the group on a holiday tour of the Clayton: “A Gilded Age Christmas - Holiday Traditions” .   This tour will trace the evolution of the most popular Christmas traditions, most of which developed in the 19th century. Items viewed will include decorations, tree adornment, greenery, period photographs, copies of shopping lists in Adelaide Fricke’s handwriting, and other memorabilia.

This is a special tour for MAL members. Please register here for the tour and plan to reimburse Anne Trimble for the tickets purchased in advance at the rates below.

Frick Members: Free

General Admission: $15.00;

Seniors, Students, Active Military:$13.00
